This is a courtesy translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

This text explains the consent you may optionally give for us to send you commercial electronic messages about our campaigns and announcements, and how you can withdraw this consent. Legal basis: Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages.

1. Sender of the messages

If you give your consent, commercial electronic messages about Geçiş Kontrol AVM’s campaigns, new products, and stock and price announcements may be sent to the contact address for which you gave your consent. The content of the messages is limited to this scope.

Your consent is limited to the channel indicated in the box you checked to give it:

  • Box on the membership form and the My account page: email,
  • Box on the quote form: email and SMS,
  • Box on the checkout page (when shopping without becoming a member): email.

You give your consent by checking the optional box on the relevant form. The boxes are not pre-checked. Giving consent is not a condition for shopping, becoming a member or receiving a quote. The consent record contains your full name, the contact address for which you gave consent, the date of the consent and where it was given.

4. Message Management System (İYS)

Consent and opt-out records are registered in the Message Management System (İYS) as required by law; we do not send you commercial electronic messages on the basis of a consent that has not been registered in İYS. You can also view and manage your consent and opt-out preferences through İYS (iys.org.tr or e-Devlet).

You can withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, without giving any reason:

  • By using the opt-out link or opt-out method included in every message we send,
  • Through İYS,
  • If you are a member, by unchecking the permission box on the My account page,
  • By writing to [email protected] or by notifying us at 0539 821 66 12.

We will stop sending messages within 3 business days at the latest after your opt-out notice reaches us.

Notifications about your order, delivery, invoice and membership are not commercial messages; they are sent regardless of your consent. Withdrawing your consent does not prevent these notifications.

7. Personal data and retention of records

Information about your personal data processed within the scope of your consent is available in the Privacy Notice (KVKK) and the Explicit Consent Text. Consent records are retained for 3 years after the consent ceases to be valid, and other records relating to the messages are retained for 3 years from the date of recording.
