What does each part do?

The reader recognizes the card or PIN. The lock keeps the door closed. The exit button opens the door from inside. Cards and key fobs are each user's key to get in.

Are the cards compatible with the reader?

All cards and key fobs on this page are 125 kHz, and the readers listed here read 125 kHz cards.

Do I need a power adapter?

Yes, the system runs on 12V. Ready-made kits include the adapter in the box. For single-item setups, ask our technical team which adapter to use.
