This policy explains the cookies and similar records stored in your browser that are used on the geciskontrolavm.com website operated by 2S Zayıf Akım Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, their purposes, and how you can manage your preferences. General information about the personal data processed through these records is available in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

A cookie is a small text file that a website you visit places in your browser. Our website and our infrastructure provider also write records to your browser’s local storage that serve the same purpose as cookies. On this page, both are referred to together as “cookies and similar records.”

2. Types we use

  • Strictly necessary: Required for the website to function, for your cart, your member session, security, and remembering your cookie preference. They cannot be turned off and do not depend on your consent.
  • Infrastructure measurement: Our e-commerce infrastructure provider ikas performs website measurement for the operation of the website and for store statistics. This measurement runs independently of your cookie preference: visitor, session and navigation IDs are written to your browser; the page visited, the previous page, the products and categories viewed, search terms, add-to-cart actions and cart contents, checkout steps and order information are transmitted to ikas. If you are logged in as a member, these records are associated with your member ID and email address.
  • Functional: Our infrastructure remembers the products you last viewed and your email subscription in your browser. These records are also written independently of your preference.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 cookies measure how you use the website. They are off by default and run only if you give your consent.
  • Marketing (only with your consent): Used to measure advertising. Our website contains a Google Ads conversion tracking tag served through Google Tag Manager; this tag runs only if you consent to marketing cookies, and it writes the _gcl_au cookie listed in the table below. Before any new marketing tool is added, this page will be updated and your preference will be requested again.

Google Tag Manager (GTM-K4LNGHX3) is a tool that loads analytics tags according to your preference; it does not write cookies itself. The tags running in the container are Google Analytics 4 (G-C1C03VJ5MR) and Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-0).

The fonts on our pages are loaded from Google’s servers (Google Fonts). No cookies are written to your browser in this process; however, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google.

4. Managing your preferences

In the cookie banner shown on your first visit to the website, the Accept, Reject and Preferences options are presented with equal prominence. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and are turned on only if you choose to do so. If you select Reject, only the strictly necessary records and the infrastructure records described above run.

You can change your preference and withdraw the consent you have given at any time via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page. Your preference is stored for 6 months; it is requested again when that period expires or when the tools we use change.

You can also delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary records, the cart, member login and checkout steps may not work. Menu names may vary by version:

  • Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies / Clear browsing data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies and site data.

5. Your personal data and your rights

Your personal data processed through cookies and similar records is processed as described in the Privacy Notice (KVKK); consent to analytics cookies is described in the Explicit Consent Text. If you have any questions, you can write to [email protected] or contact us at 0539 821 66 12.

6. Changes

This policy is updated when the tools we use or the applicable legislation change; the current version is published on this page together with its update date. When a new analytics or marketing tool is added, the tool is listed by name on this page and your preference is requested again.
