Processing based solely on your consent, and how to withdraw it

This is a courtesy translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

This text describes the personal data processing activities carried out by 2S Zayıf Akım Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Geçiş Kontrol AVM”) solely on the basis of your explicit consent. Giving consent is optional: not giving consent does not prevent you from shopping, becoming a member or requesting a quote. You can give each consent separately and withdraw it at any time. General information on the processing of your data is available in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

1. Analytics cookies

  • Purpose: To measure how the website is used; to understand which pages and products attract interest and where visitors come to the website from; and to improve the website.
  • Tools: Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-C1C03VJ5MR); loaded through Google Tag Manager (GTM-K4LNGHX3) only when you give your consent.
  • Data: Cookie ID, IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and on-site interactions (e.g., product views, add-to-cart actions).
  • Recipient: Google. Since Google’s servers are located abroad, the data is transferred abroad; the transfer is carried out under Article 9 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 9/6-a; analytics and marketing consent in the cookie banner) or of a standard contract concluded with the provider (KVKK Art. 9/4).
  • Retention period: Cookies remain in your browser for a maximum of 2 years; Google Analytics data is retained for the period set in the Google Analytics account settings (up to 14 months).
  • How consent is given: By clicking the Accept button in the cookie banner or by turning on analytics cookies in the Preferences section.
  • How consent is withdrawn: By turning off analytics cookies via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page. Details are available on the Cookie Policy page.

Consent statement: “I give my explicit consent to the use of analytics cookies, to the processing of the data obtained through these cookies for the purpose described above, and to the transfer of such data to Google.”

2. Campaign and announcement messages

  • Purpose: To send you announcements about campaigns, new products, stock and prices.
  • Data: Full name, email address, phone number; the scope and date of the approval and where it was given.
  • Channel: Only the channel indicated in the box you checked to give your approval (email or SMS).
  • Recipients: The Message Management System (İYS) and the service providers we use to send the messages.
  • How consent is given: By checking the optional, not pre-checked box on the membership form, the My account page, the quote form or the checkout page.
  • How consent is withdrawn: Via the opt-out link in each message, through İYS, on the My account page, or by writing to [email protected]. Details are available on the Commercial Electronic Message Consent Text page.

Consent statement: “I give my explicit consent to the processing of my first name, last name and the contact details for which I have given approval, for the purpose of being sent campaign and announcement messages.”

Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal; the relevant processing is stopped as of the moment you withdraw it. Withdrawing your consent, or never giving it, does not affect your use of the other services on the website.

Processing activities such as receiving, delivering and invoicing your order and ensuring the security of the website are based not on explicit consent but on the other legal grounds listed in KVKK; your consent is not requested for them. Details are available in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
