What Is Fail Safe (NC)?
In Fail Safe (NC - Normally Closed) systems, the lock is closed and locked when power is applied. When power is cut, the lock opens automatically. It is preferred especially in areas where fire regulations apply. In emergencies, it allows the door to open safely.
Note: Magnetic locks and bolt lock systems are used by connecting them to the relay's NC output.
